FANTASTIC RESULTS IN PARIS
this weekend 5 of our fencers went to Paris for the
competition CEP Marathon either with the Tomorrows
Achievers group or as a club member the Club is very
proud of the results for more see results page
PERMANENT RELOCATION - Please note the club is moving
starting on 23rd August 2007 for the Thursday session to Broadwater
College, Godalming, Surrey GU73BW. I will provide you with directions
on the directions & locations page in a couple of weeks when i have
some spare time (Catherine).
Please note there is a potential to extend club night to include Mondays.
This will depend on uptake so please advise Steve if this is of interest to
you when you next see him.
NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS - Attached is the note that Steve
issued to Club members on Thursday 1st December. For those who
weren't at the club please read the notice for latest information. This
notice highlights new club procedures in line with changes in our
insurance regulations so it is imperative that you take note.
Upcoming Training Events
Training-days (details to be advised as Upper Heyford is closing)
All members of the club are invited to attend training-days at
are:-
date to be confirmed - combination training and fencing
Training is from 10.00am to 15.30pm.
Any fencers wishing to attend the training can turn up on the day.
Costs are £25, paid by cheque and made payable to England
Fencing Union. In case you are under 18 you will need to bring a
consent-form (click here for consent form and directions).
If you need more information, please ask Steve.
Remember to bring:
- Shorts and trainers for warm ups
- Packed lunch
- Plenty of water
- Spare T-shirts
- Towel
- Normal fencing kit
NB breeches and long socks must be worn at all times while
fencing.
